Painting Day

One thing we learned /wanted to adjust for was the older boys. We have consistently had a handful of older boys and we need to keep them in mind when we plan our activities. We're talking about getting an "older boys oversight manager" to keep in mind their boredom levels and the different developmental needs of an older boy, both attention span and character-development wise. We tried in the earlier meeting, tools, to have them be assistants to the younger ones. Today we might have given them a more difficult assignment that would be more challenging for their older maturity and knowledge. Constant improvement, not instant perfection!

We did two projects, the masking watercolor and ornament painting.
